Deep Thought #309

Again, you cannot teach those who refuse to learn and you cannot help those who refuse to change. Stubbornness is rebellion and rebellion is like witchcraft. Instead of force-feeding them, surrender them to God and pray that God would grant them repentance to come to their senses so that they may deliver themselves from the devil’s snare of doing his will (2 Timothy 2:25). Beating them up with the Bible or dragging them to church is not the answer. It won’t work. Change has to come from inside out and only God can do that.
