Where the genuine servant of the Lord is, there will be the counterfeit also. The Bible tells us to test the spirit of the person. Do not be fooled by soft spoken, extremely friendly and falsely humble people. The only way you are going to be able to identify the counterfeit is through the eyes of the Holy Spirit and “By their fruits you shall know them” (Luke 6:4345). Pray “Lord, help me see this person through your eyes.” “Lord, show me the governing spirit of this person.” “Lord help me to be sensitive to Your voice.” Amen.
