Deep Thought #333

As humans we often get taken over by our emotions and when someone hurts us we secretly wish they would just drop dead. God however takes no pleasure in seeing the wicked die, rather He wants to see them turn around from their wicked way and do good (Ezekiel 33:11).

So, next time when someone wrongs you, hurts you or violates you, don’t wish that they would just disappear or wish you could just disappear. Instead, ask God to convict their heart and give them no rest until they get right with God. But, remember this, God will first change you before He changes the other person. For there’s none righteous but God.
