Deep Thought #99
What do you do when you are confronted by someone about your behavior, action, or word? How do you react to a situation when there’s unfairness and being wrongfully accused? Commonly and naturally we first get offended, then we strike out to seek justification and if that doesn’t work we use our “Kung Fu” fist and “Thunder” voice to try to get the upper hand. Some use “Cold” war and simply shut down and refuse to talk for days and weeks. We go from one extreme to another. Yet, Jesus taught us in Mathew 5:9, “Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be the children of God.” Stop being a peace-keeper who is just a busybody, unless you are an uniformed official and that is your job. Unless someone is asking for your help, keep your nose out of people’s business. But be a peacemaker and do what Jesus would do.
