Deep Thought #23
Self-justification is the worst thing one can do in a disagreement with another person. Self-justification is simply giving yourself away to be the “nasty” one. The one who talks the most in an argument is the one who is in the wrong. Rather, take your anger, complaint and injustice to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to help you forgive and to give you peace.
For the Bible tells us, “Vengeance is Mine, you shall hold your peace.” Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies. How foolish!
