Deep Thought #136

During my seven years of ministering, I noticed that the one thing people are usually struggling with is FAITH. We all want “guarantee” in everything we do and we have a hard time accepting “No” as an answer. The Bible tells us clearly Faith is a substance of things hoped for but not seen. No one but God can guarantee us that what is to come is exactly what we wish for. Faith is risk-taking. Either you jump and trust God will catch you, or you can stand frozen and be eaten by the lion. The Bible also tells us that “without faith it’s impossible to please God.” So stop tormenting yourself by demanding “guarantee” and let go let God. He promised He will never leave you nor forsake you. That should be enough for a “guarantee.”
