Deep Thought #385

Christians are not called to destroy the work of the devil; Jesus has already done that. Christians are called to be the Light in the world and the salt of the earth. Jesus came to demonstrate that, yet you say “But that’s too hard” or “I am not Jesus.” It is only hard if we allow our flesh to take control of our intentions. Bible says, “Our spirit is willing but our flesh is weak.”

Friend, nothing is impossible with God. It is only impossible if you focus on your carnal self aka FLESH (me, myself and I; I think, I want, I feel). We are to walk by faith not by sight; we are to pray from victory, not for victory. We are to imitate Jesus Christ not use His name to deceive, oppress and abuse others.
