Here is a key to differentiating if what you are doing or going to do is indeed God’s will. Ask yourself these questions: 1) Do you feel obligated? 2) Does it serve a purpose? 3) Does it lead to glorifying God? 4) Do you feel the joy of the Lord in what you are doing or about to do?

Fact: God never obligates you to do His will. He wants a willing heart. If God wants you to do something He will always ask you, “Do you want to?” God is a gentleman; it’s never an obligation to serve God, and if what you are doing is God’s will, His grace comes with it. Grace is the empowerment of God to allow you to do the otherwise impossible. If it is God’s will then 10% is your part and 90% is God’s part. The result is absolute, satisfying and rewarding. Thus, God gets the glory and you get the goods.
