Because the Lord disciplines the one He loves and chastens everyone He accepts as His son (Hebrews 12:6) do not be discouraged nor be dismayed, for the pain of discipline is temporary while the pain of consequence is permanent. God loves us too much to see us go down. Blessed are those who endure to the end.
