Deep Thought #102

As human, we all have a void in our heart only God can fill. No amount of sex, drugs, money, parties, fame and alcohol can fill that void. In fact, the Bible tells us, “That which you are addicted to, you become the slave of it.” Friend, we all know someone or have someone in our life (including ourselves) who is trapped in this vicious web. The only way out is to admit that we are helpless and powerless without God and we need His Holy Spirit to help us and we need the Salvation of Jesus Christ. Until we admit we have a problem and need God’s mercy and grace and Help, we will be trapped in the deceitful web. Then it will only be a matter of time before we are swallowed up by the “Black Widow” (the devil).
