Deep Thought #680

Too often we seek signs and wonders from ministries and thus set ourselves up for deceit. Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:4-5: “Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ’ and will deceive many.”

The Lord continues: “For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24)

Friend, we get in trouble because we don’t listen. Even if we listen we don’t hear. Our stubbornness has cost us dearly over the years. How long will you allow the enemy to buffet you? It is time to stop being stubborn and let the Holy Spirit be your guide, then and only then will you be able to stand against the devil’s wiles.
