Deep Thought #688

My heart bleeds seeing so many Christians being deceived by the religious spirit also known as Pharisees spirit. Churchgoers are often told by their leader, “If you pray enough”; “if you read your Bible”; “if you confess of your sin”; “if you would tithe 10%”; “if you would fast” if if if…“then none of these things would have happened to you.” Seriously!!

Jesus taught us, “They (religious leaders) crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden (to remove them).” (Matthew 23:1-4)

Friend, Christianity is not about dos and don’ts; rules and regulations, agree or die. Christianity is about being Christlike. As Jesus is, so are we in the world. (1 John 4:17)

Do not be deceived.
